Most email problems are temporary system errors and generally clear themselves up in minutes or slightly longer. For ongoing problems we suggest the following steps:

  1. Check to make certain that your inbox and other folders aren’t full. Be certain to empty your Trash of messages that have been previously deleted, to help free up space.

  2. If you use Outlook or another 3rd party email service, see if your email works by logging into it directly through the web based service, GoDaddy Workspace Webmail. Try sending and receiving messages there. If this works, the problem is likely your third party email service and you should contact your IT administrator.

  3. If you’re still having problems sending or receiving email after these troubleshooting steps, please do not call GoDaddy. If we host your website, they will be unable to help you. Instead, reach out to our support team and we will be happy to assist.
